Kelly Huedepohl
Attorney Kelly Huedepohl has extensive experience representing clients in cases at in state and federal trial courts, before administrative and local agencies, and in appeals before the Oregon Court of Appeals, the Oregon Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Kelly has practiced as litigation and appellate counsel at a boutique professional defense firm in Portland and at one of the largest national law firms in the United States, and has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and a Best Lawyers Ones to Watch in the areas of Civil and Commercial Litigation. Kelly also held the position of general counsel for an Oregon industrial services and real estate development corporation. Kelly is admitted to practice law in the State of Oregon, the State of Washington, the United States District Courts for the District of Oregon and the District of Western Washington, and before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Kelly has been honored to represent medical and legal professionals, nonprofit organizations, local businesses, and financial institutions throughout her career.
In addition to being a skilled legal researcher and writer, Kelly is data-driven and technology focused. She leverages her substantial quantitative training and affinity for advanced technology to provide her clients with exceptional legal services. At Kellington Law Group, Kelly combines those skills with her long-standing interest in real estate and land use, which includes both a clerkship for the Oregon Department of Justice in the Commercial, Condemnation, and Environmental Litigation Section working alongside some of Oregon’s most experienced eminent domain lawyers, and her law review article on the post-2008 mortgage crisis and the constitutional considerations of government intervention in private mortgage portfolios.

An accomplished public speaker and presenter, Kelly has coached law students and lawyers in the arts of public speaking and trial and appellate court presentation.
When she isn’t at the office, Kelly is probably cheering on a youth sports team, at a dog park, or meandering through one of Portland’s neighborhoods enjoying the local restaurants and boutique shops.
Kelly graduated Cum Laude from Willamette University College of Law, where she served as Law Review Editor and won multiple awards as a Moot Court competitor. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Economics and in Political Science.
